General Notes: Husband - Manassa Dugan
He came to Clearfield Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, in 1794, when about twelve years of age.
He was a soldier in the War of 1812, and up until his death, about 1840, was one of the active and progressive citizens of the eastern section of the county.
He and his wife had seventeen children; with the exception of three who died in infancy, all of the family lived to maturity. [But the source only lists sixteen.]
