General Notes: Husband - William M. Dawson
He was one of the first merchant tailors of Allegheny, Pennsylvania, and was one of the original subscribers to the capital stock of the Pittsburg Savings Fund Company, which is today the Farmers' Deposit National Bank. He settled in the Diamond, where his children were born. In 1833 he opened a store in South Diamond, which he conducted until 1850, when he retired to a farm at Killbuck, now Glenfield, where he passed the remainder of his life.
