General Notes: Husband - Abraham Hazen

He was about ten years of age when his parents came to Fayette County, Pennsylvania, where his after life was spent. He learned the blacksmith's trade under the instruction of his father, but preferred farming and always followed that occupation. He first tilled his father's farm, but in April, 1846, purchased a farm near-by on Crabapple run, which he cultivated until his death.
