General Notes: Husband - Thomas C. Davis


In 1845, he came to Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, first locating on rented land in Ferguson township. From the farm in Ferguson township he removed to Lumber City, where he engaged in lumbering, and also took a contract for the construction of a portion of the Tyrone and Luthersburg pike.

Another source states that he was born in Clarion County, Pennsylvania.
