General Notes: Husband - John Morrow
He acquired a sound and practical education in the public schools of his native township. He was always engaged in farming, and in addition to this was a cattle breeder of note in his section. All of the buildings on his property, which consisted of one hundred and sixty acres, were erected by Mr. Morrow. The house was built in 1880, and the barn three years later. He did a great deal to serve his community in public affairs, and frequently held public office. He invariably cast his vote in the interests of the Democratic party, and became a supervisor of the township in 1877. For several terms he served as school director, and later fire marshal by appointment, and was also appointed by the court as one of the viewers of the county. He and his family were members of the United Presbyterian Church.
