General Notes: Husband - Rev. James Davis


He graduated from Jefferson College in 1834, and from the Western Theological Seminary, in 1837. For eighteen years, he was the pastor of a Presbyterian church at Morgantown, West Virginia. In his later years he preached occasionally, without any settled pastorate. From 1855 to 1857, he resided on a farm in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, removing in the latter year to Blairsville, Indiana County.
