General Notes: Husband - Henry Marshall Donehoo


He was a tailor by trade.
In 1861 he enlisted in the Civil War and served three months, then reenlisted in Company A, Seventeenth Pennsylvania Cavalry. Later he was made captain of Company B of the same regiment, and had the honor of opening the battle of Gettysburg. He was wounded at Five Forks, Virginia.
In 1878 he was elected register and recorder of Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and was reelected in 1881.

At one time he was a hotelkeeper at New Brighton, Pennsylvania.
