General Notes: Husband - Charles Lees


He and his wife settled at marriage in Venango County, Pennsylvania, where they remained until April 21, 1853, when they left, and in 1854 came to Mercer County and rented for two years in Wilmington Township. April 2, 1856, they moved to another farm. He improved about eighty-two acres; was township treasurer two terms and supervisor. He and his wife were members of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Jackson Centre, and he was a Republican.
