General Notes: Husband - Joseph Gladden


He was reared and educated on the old homestead. In early manhood he married and first settled near Midway, on what was known as the Campbell farm. In the spring of 1842 he bought and moved onto a farm in South Fayette township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, remain-ing there until his death. He and his wife were members of the United Presbyterian Church at Robinson's Run.
