General Notes: Husband - Richard Dodson


He came to the farm, later occupied by his son, Richard E., in 1815.

One of his daughters was carried away by the Indians. Thomas, after her captivity for six months, was enabled after a long pursuit to obtain possession of her, by giving his horse as a ransom.
