General Notes: Husband - Daniel Dod

From the family records and traditions, supported by ecclesiastical and other institutional records and local histories, it is learned that in the year 1636 two brothers, Daniel and Stephen Dod (so the patronymic was then, and for some generations thereafter, spelled), leaving their ancestral home in England, settled in Branfort, Connecticut. One branch of the family was some time thereafter established in Guilford, in the same state.
