General Notes: Husband - Samuel Dixon


He lived in his youth near Blairsville, Pennsylvania. He lived near Clarksburg, beginning when he was twenty-five years of age, or about four years after his marriage. He was a farmer. In early years he dealt in stock and droved to the eastern part of the state.
He was the father of nineteen children, eight by his first wife.
