General Notes: Husband - Capt. Thomas Dill

He was a student at Princeton College, entered the army and was wounded at the battle of Brandywine. He was afterward presented by his father the tract called "Dillwood," in Washington County, Pennsylvania, where he moved.

He emigrated to America from Ireland and purchased land in Strabane township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, a part of which he afterwards sold to his son-in-law, Henry Wilson.

Several of his grandchildren became very prominent in the ministry, viz.: Prof. Henry Wilson, said to be one of the ablest Presbyterian divines in the state, also Revs. Calvin Dill Wilson and William R. Paxton, of Princeton College, were descendants of this family.
