General Notes: Husband - Rev. John M. Dight


He was county superintendent of schools of Mercer County, Pennsylvania, at the time of the birth of his son, John Clayton Dight. Later he entered the ministry of the United Presbyterian Church and was for more than thirty-two years pastor of the Mount Pleasant congregation, on the dividing line between Butler and Allegheny counties, Pennsylvania. Rev. Mr. Dight served a term as member of the General Assembly of Pennsylvania in 1907, being the only United Presbyterian minister who was ever a member of the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth.
