General Notes: Husband - William R. Dickson, M.D.


He attended the public schools and Ingleside Academy, later Westminster College and subsequently the Western Pennsylvania Medical College, later the University of Pittsburgh, where he was graduated in medicine and immediately located at McDonald, where he developed a large and substantial practice.
He served as a member of the school board for five years and was in the city council for four years. In politics he was a Republican.
He and his wife were members of the First United Presbyterian Church at McDonald. He was a thirty-second degree Mason and was identified with the Blue Lodge at McDonald and the Council, Chapter and Commandery at Pittsburgh. He belonged also to the Knights of Pythias, the Heptasophs and the Royal Arcanum, all at McDonald.
