General Notes: Husband - James Dickson


He was a Captain in the Revolutionary war. Removing after the close of the war from the Mohawk Valley, where his father had first settled, he made his home for a time in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Not satisfied there, he came with his family, in 1801, to Erie County, locating near the head-waters of French Creek.
