General Notes: Husband - Ephraim Latta


He was reared on a farm and received his education in the schools of his neighborhood. He followed farming in South Huntingdon township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, until 1882, when he sold the homestead farm to William Taylor and purchased another farm in Sewickley township. Mr. Latta was a democrat in politics and served as school director of his township. He and his wife were members of the old "Dick" United Presbyterian church.
