His early education was acquired in the public school and the high school of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, after leaving which he matriculated at the University of Pittsburgh, from which he was graduated in the class of 1915 with his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. After graduation, Dr. Fisher began the general practice of his profession in Greensburg. He was a member of the Rotary Club, of Greensburg, the Psi Omega Fraternity; the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania State Dental Society, the Odontological Society of Pittsburgh, and of the Westmoreland County Dental Society, of which he was vice-president, having been elected to that office in 1925. In politics, Mr. Fisher affiliated with the Democratic Party. He was a member of the First Reformed Church of Greensburg.
