General Notes: Husband - Cyrus Alexander

He and his wife began married life on the old homestead, but afterward purchased a farm near by, where their lives were passed. Politically, he was a Whig and Republican, but preferred the quiet duties of private life to the turmoil of politics. He and his wife were active workers in and zealous members of the Presbyterian Church.
