General Notes: Husband - Hugh Linn

He was born in Sewickley Heights, Pennsylvania. Here also was he reared and educated in the local public schools, and here he succeeded at once to his father's occupation and some one hundred and sixty acres of his broad lands. This he operated as a successful farm until the time of his death.
He and his wife were staunch members of the Methodist Episcopal Church; he was a Republican in politics.

He inherited from his father one hundred and sixty acres of the old homestead and on that began his life as a farmer, following thus in his father's footsteps, and continuing therein until the time of his death.
