General Notes: Husband - Moses Marsh


He was born at Braintree, Massachusetts. Removed to Chesterfield, New Hampshire, where he served in the Revolutionary War, as a private in Colonel Samuel Ashley's company, Chesterfield, New Hampshire. In 1779 he purchased in the town of Rockingham, Vermont, "three ninety acre Lotts, being Lotts Number Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen, in the Fourth Range of Ninety Acre Lotts in said Rockingham, said Land being forfeited to this State by James Rogers, by his Treasonable Conduct-in consideration of six hundred pounds Lawful Money."
