General Notes: Husband - Archibald Smith Day


He attended the public schools of his native city, graduating from the high school in class of 1903; he then entered Grove City College, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, attending during the years 1904-05, and was a student at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, during the years 1906-07. He pursued the course of electrical engineering, in which he became highly proficient. He then associated with his father in his various enterprises, became general manager of the Sheffield Telephone Company, and became local manager of the Bell Telephone Company, Warren, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, and of Sheffield Lodge, No. 481, Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
