General Notes: Husband - James Watson


He was a volunteer soldier in the War of 1812.
He lived on the old family homestead in Clinton township, Butler County, Pennsylvania. He was the father of thirteen children, eight of whom lived to mature years.

He was born in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and in 1799 was taken by his parents to Butler County, where he became a farmer in Clinton township.
