General Notes: Husband - Richard Steele

The Steele family came to America from the North of Ireland.

He lived at Vineland, New Jersey, before his removal to Pennsylvania, where he first settled in Dauphin County, later in Lawrence County, the remainder of his life being spent in farming in North Beaver Township. He lived to be about seventy years of age.
He was a Baptist in religious faith, and a Whig in political doctrine.
