General Notes: Husband - Reuben B. Waldron


He was educated in the public schools of Butler, Pennsylvania, and began his business career with the Lyndora National Bank, with which he was connected for seven years. He then volunteered for service during the World War and was sent to Camp Humphries, Virginia, and later to Camp Forrest, Georgia, where he was attached to the Twentieth Regiment, Engineers. After the close of the war, Mr. Waldron went to Canton, Ohio, where he was employed by the Timken Roller Bearing Company as an inspector. In 1920 he became interested in the jewelry business in Butler in partnership with H. E. McClain, and continued until 1924, when Mr. Waldron bought Mr. McClain's interests. The shop was located in the Butler Savings Bank building.
Mr. Waldron was a member of the First English Lutheran Church, and belonged to all branches of the Masonic Lodge. He also was affiliated with the Elks Lodge and American Legion. In politics he was a Republican.
