General Notes: Husband - William North

Cool Spring Twp, Mercer Co, PA

He and his wife immigrated to America about 1819, and settled for three years in either Worth or Sandy Lake Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, and later removed to Cool Spring Township. He improved about 325 acres from the green woods, and at one time owned over 500 acres. He, of course, was content to use oxen in the early cultivation of his farm. He and his wife were members of the Cool Spring congregation of Presbyterians. [HMC 1888, 984]
