General Notes: Husband - Martin G. Marburger


He was educated in the public schools of Evans City, Pennsylvania, and later attended Butler Business College. At an early age he became associated with his father in the meat business and for many years was ranked among the successful merchants of the community. He was also a well known stockman, being a breeder of pure bred stock exclusively. Politically, he was a Democrat. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and belonged to the Inde­pendent Order of Odd Fellows, Modern Woodmen of America, and the Chamber of Commerce. He served as a member of the school board for many years.
