General Notes: Husband - John McCurdy

Smicksburg, Indiana Co, PA

Civil War: he was in Captain John Guthrie's undetached company, for nine months.

He lived in Smicksburg, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, beginning in 1854, and from 1856 conducted a blacksmith shop. He was one of the contractors that sunk a well about a mile from Georgeville, in the spring of 1866; said well was 740 feet in depth.
