General Notes: Husband - Nathaniel H. McKinley

He and his twin were born October 26. [GPHAV, 364] Same source: he died in 1881.
He spent his boyhood partly in Ohio, being eight years old when he came to Venango County, PA, where he grew up on the home farm. He attended the local schools and assisted his father with the farm work, following the same line successfully all his life on the old McKinley property. He was a man noted for his abstemious habits, never using even tobacco in any form, and was thoroughly respected for his character and intelligence, being a useful citizen though never in public life in any capacity. Politically he was a Republican. He and his wife were devoted members of the United Presbyterian Church, and he served several years as trustee. [CAB, 962]

Notes: Marriage

They were married in 1851. [HVC 1919, 962]
