General Notes: Husband - Thomas Dague

He was born on the old family homestead in West Bethlehem township, Washington County, Pennsylvania. His younger days were spent at home and in attending the common schools, but being the eldest boy in the family his opportunities in that respect were comparatively limited. However, in after years he made up for his lack of schooling by considerable application to books. At the age of twenty-three he began life for himself by working his father's farm on shares.
He was a Republican, and one of the supervisors of the township. He took an active interest in the politics of his township, and he and his wife were both members of the Scenery Hill Methodist Church.
