General Notes: Husband - William C. Cunningham

He and his brother, Benjamin, came to Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, from Fayette County, in 1796; he settled on a two-hundred-acre farm, later the property of J. P. Cunningham.

He came to Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, from Fayette County, in the year 1796. William settled on the farm later owned by R. S. Cunningham. He and his brother, Benjamin, came in the autumn of that year and built cabins and made other improvements on their places, and went back to Fayette County after their families. He brought his family out with him in the spring of 1797. The farms taken by the Cunninghams lay on the line which later divided Wayne and Shenango townships. William's farm was in Wayne, and Benjamin's in Shenango.

He and his wife left their daugher Mattie at some time in Fayette County, and she died while they were away from her.
