General Notes: Husband - S. O. Rhodes

He made his home with his parents until he married, and after marriage lo-cated in Elizabeth township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, where he built a steam sawmill with a daily capacity of ten thousand feet of lumber. This mill he wore out, and then erected another of about the same capacity, and was engaged in building barges, coalboats, etc.; was also a general dealer in lumber.
During the Civil War he was in the three-months service, in Capt. Harmar's company.
