There appears to be confustion between this man and the person listed as his brother, Samuel Martin Cross. This individual is listed in [HVC 1890, 1126] and appears in the cemetery lot in Rockland. S. M. is listed in [HVC 1890, 1126] but it states he is already deceased in 1890. He is not listed in [GPHAV, 938]. Samuel is listed in [GPHAV, 938] and it gives the same date of birth as the cemetery book gives for W. A. and states he died at nineteen years of age - the same age at death as W. A., according to the cemetery book.
