General Notes: Husband - Walter S. Croft

He was a sergeant in Spanish-American War; later he enlisted in 47th U. S. A., and was sent to the Philippines. He was discharged by special order to enter the Metropolitan Police Force at Manila, served four months, resigned and came home via San Francisco. After spending two years in California he came east and located in Hagerstown, Maryland, where he engaged in electrical work.
