General Notes: Husband - Jesse Critchlow

His parents were among the pioneers of Butler County, Pennsylvania.
He was reared on a farm and received his education in a pioneer subscription school. He learned the shoe-maker's trade, which he followed in connection with farming down to his death.
He was a member of the Presbyterian church, and was an adherent of the Democratic party.
His death was the result of an accident.
