General Notes: Husband - Charles Stauffer

According to tradition the Stauffers owe their origin to a generation of knights called “Stauffacher” at Hohenstauffen, Germany. It is presumed by genealogists that all the Stauffer pioneers that immigrated to America at different times, have the same common origin and are more or less remotely connected.

He was a native of Northampton County, Pennsylvania, and during the major portion of his active career was a farmer there.
