General Notes: Husband - Elihu Crane


In 1797 his brother, Abiather Crane, a young surveyor from Connecticut, came to Conneaut township, Erie County, Pennsylvania. The next year he and his brother, located near the later site of Lexington. Both brothers were soldiers in the Revolutionary war.
In the spring of 1790 [sic], Elihu removed to Elk Creek and located there, where a large connection of the name came to have their homes. They and the Pomroys intermarried.
