General Notes: Husband - Joseph Crain


In the struggle for independence he served as first lieutenant in Col. Green's battalion of Lancaster County associators in service in the Jerseys, August, 1776; captain in the sixth battalion in 1777, and in the ninth battalion, Lancaster County militia, in 1780.
