General Notes: Husband - Andrew Craighead

He was born Elizabeth borough and was reared there and educated at the public schools. He followed various occupations, but was a dealer in real estate beginning in 1850. In 1862 he enlisted as drum-major in Co. E, 155th P. V., and was honorably discharged the same year. He then engaged in shipping lumber and coal to Cincinnati and Louisville until the close of the war.

He and his brothers, Robert and John, laid out the addition to Elizabeth, which was taken into the borough after a few years, and with some others they laid out the beautiful cemetery just outside the borough limits.
