She was a student at Bucknell College, then went to Wilson College, Chambersburg, and took a library course at Drexel Institute, in Philadelphia, graduated with the class of 1904; she was connected with libraries in Pittsburgh and in Cleveland, Ohio, and was supervisor of club work with children in the latter city at Carnegie Library.
