General Notes: Husband - James Craig

He was born in Donegal township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, where his boyhood and youth were passed, alternating between book lessons at school and practical lessons on his father's farm. Soon after marriage he settled on one of his father's farms, situated three miles southeast of West Alexander, where he resided over forty years, successfully engaged in farming and stock raising. In politics he was a Republican, and held various township offices. His wife was a consistent member of the Presbyterian Church.
