General Notes: Husband - John Dimm


About 1835 he and his brothers, James and Samuel, purchased the Cargill grist-mill.

He operated a farm and a saw-mill in Greenwood Township and was appointed the first postmaster at Dimmsville, a village in that township named for the family. From 1852 to 1857 he served as associate judge of the court of common pleas in Juniata County.
