General Notes: Husband - George W. Fox


He enlisted at Clarion, Pennsylvania, August 1, 1861, in Company F, Sixty-third Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, and was sergeant, second lieutenant and first lieutenant in the company. He was discharged March 23, 1863. on account of wounds received at the second battle of Bull Run, August 29, 1862, and returned to the service August 28, 1863, as first lieutenant in Company B. Twenty-second Regiment, Veteran Reserve Corps. He was discharged June 30, 1866. his services being no longer required, as the war had closed. He then went to Minneapolis, Minnesota, September 9, 1866, and resided there.
