General Notes: Husband - Joseph Stright

At the death of his parents, he came to Mercer County, Pennsylvania, to live with his uncle, George, and after his marriage he located on a farm in what is now New Vernon Township, where he lived until his death. He belonged to the old Militia companies, and was captain of the Georgetown Rifles, and major of the battalion. He attended the Presbyterian Church, and voted the Democratic ticket.
