General Notes: Husband - Dr. George Webster Coulter


He received his education in his native State, attending the public schools in his youth and taking his medical course in the Western Reserve University, Cleveland. When he entered practice he remained about six years at his first location, East Brook, Lawrence Co., Pa., in 1862 removing to Slippery Rock, Butler Co., Pa., where he settled permanently. At the time he was secretary of the Butler County Medical Society, in the enjoyment of a large practice, and ranked high in the profession as well as with his patrons. [CAB, 488]
