General Notes: Husband - Harry D. Coshey


He was born at Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and was educated in the common schools of that place. After completing his education, he engaged in the undertaking business with his father.
He was very active in public affairs and particularly in connection with politics. He was a member of the Democratic party and held a number of local political offices, among which should be mentioned his membership on the Common Council of Greensburg, which he held for a period of twelve years. In his religious belief Mr. Coshey was affiliated with the First Reformed Church, as were the other members of his family. He was a member of the local lodges of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and of the Improved Order of Heptasophs.
