General Notes: Husband - George W. Kuhns

He received his early education in the public schools, and then en­gaged in farming, in which occupation he re­mained until 1892, when he settled in Leeper, Pennsylvania, and entered the mercantile business. In 1897 he was appointed postmaster at Leeper; he was also at one time school director of the town. He was a Republican in politics, and a Methodist in religion. He was a member of Yokohama Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows at Tylersburg.
