Capt. James E. Cornelius, Aug. 31, 1861; wounded at Chantilly, Virginia, Sept. 1, 1862; resigned March 4, 1862; transfered to Veteran Reserve Corp; promoted to Colonelcy; resigned; died in 1881.

He died from wounds received in the Civil War.
