General Notes: Husband - Harry Arthur Corbett


Educated in the public schools of Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, he subsequently studied for three years at Clarion Normal School, after which he began his long career in the Pennsylvania Railroad system at Summerville. After serving in various minor capacities, he was appointed station agent at Summerville in 1909.
He was affiliated fraternally with the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, in which he was a member of all higher bodies of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, including Coudersport Consistory, thirty-second degree, and a member of Jaffa Temple, Ancient Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine at Altoona. A Presbyterian in religious faith, he was prominent in his church, serving as a member of the Stated Sessions, of which he was also clerk for twenty-one years.
