General Notes: Husband - Samuel Lowe

He received his education in the Rankin schoolhouse. All his life he followed the calling of a farmer. About 1865 he settled on a farm, where he engaged in stock-raising and general farming. The property consisted of about ninety acres and was greatly improved by him as the owner. He was a Prohibitionist in politics, and was a member and officer of Wesley (Methodist Episcopal) Chapel.
